We stayed here for three nights while coming home from Key West, our check in was fast and pleasant. While this hotel was slightly dated everything was clean and in perfect working order. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a great view of the Gulf, even though we had one of the side rooms and not direct ocean front. One really nice feature was once we were in our room, everything was QUIET! Seriouslly with the doors shut we couldn't hear anything, it made for a really nice sleep. I really liked the fact that our room had everything we needed, such as detergent for the washer, dish soap and paper towels for the sink ect. They even had office supplies like paper clips, tape, pen and paper and scissors! Not that we needed that sort of thing but the fact it was in the room was nice. In addition our room service was very friendly, cleaned the room well and made sure we had plenty of fresh towels ect. The beach is directly off the patio, plenty of very soft and clean sand. Pool area was small but clean and never really that crowded. Plenty of chairs, umbrellas ect you could take to the beach. We left on Monday morning just ahead of hurricane Ian. We were deeply saddened to see the devestation left behind in the Fort Myers area in particular. I looks like this hotel is still standing and hopefully in time they can restore everything. If you are looking for an excellent hotel in the Fort Myers area, this is the one.
