Key Largo is the closest island to Miami. When heading to Key West you need to go through Key Largo. If you have very little time and want to do one of the Keys Islands tours in Florida, then maybe Key Largo is the best option. Key Largo is 110 km from downtown Miami. Here you will find mainly scuba diving options. I do not consider Key Largo a very beautiful city to visit because the center of Key Largo is very small, however the city offers good water rides. If the focus is on enjoying the sea in Key Largo, then this is a city close to Miami that is worth visiting.
