The owner of union, Timothy took the highroad in a bad situation and earned a loyal customer. We showed up on time for our 7:40 5 PM reservation yet the restaurant was so busy that they were telling us it was going to be a 40 minute wait. After arguing and debating the inns and outs of the concept of reservations with unions host staff Timothy grab the bull by the horn‘s and took charge of the situation. Outcomes the collapsible table with tablecloth chairs candles and everything that goes along with it well set up table smack dab on the patio in a prime location. Timothy offers us free drinks and appetizers to calm the situation and tells us were going to “have some fun tonight“. Timothy checked on us about five times to make sure everything was going well and sat down beside us at the end of the evening after we had an amazing meal to just chat and get to know his customer even better. And the food was amazing, the service was very nice and I will definitely be back over and over again. As a matter fact I just went there again for dinner with my wife on Sunday night. This is a great spot for great food so please support this restaurant so we can keep it as a staple offering in Boca Raton.
Great restaurant, I ordered the Ribeye Steak. It was $58.00 dush and surprisingly it only came with fries. However the fries, but they were freaking delicious. I reluctantly had to send my first steak back at the instance of our Server because it was over done, but they nailed it the second time.
Our Server was a enthusiastic, but self admitted she was new to the business, which showed with the timing if the dishes being served.
The Owner's appearance at our table was very appreciated by my wife who had ordered the Black Squid Ink Fettuccine. He suggested adding red pepper flakes and a sprinkle of sea salt, which she loved. "It enhanced the flavor" which was already delicious.
The night was capped with complimentary chocolate shots. All in all a good night out with friends, which was worth the price.
My wife and I, and other couple, are "snowbird foodies" always looking for top new restaurants to try while wintering in Boca. Soooo glad we tried "27" after hearing very positive reports (well deserved!). This is a hip venue, intimate in it's own way; cool vibe, tastefully decked out, eclectic and well chosen piped in music, chic bar. Tables are a bit tightly spaced and the noise level a tad high...but that lends itself well to the high energy atmosphere. Be sure to ask for our server, Fae. Professional in every respect, in total command of the menu, and attentive without being intrusive--same for the entire wait staff. With a great sense of humor, Fae made our evening! Cocktails are perfectly garnished and amply poured. As always, it's all about the food. A cut above, bread included. Exceptional appetizers included fried calamari, yellow beet salad, and a squash blossom special. Chicken--boring?!?!--was anything but. Terrific! As was the grouper special. Portions are quite ample too, you will not go home hungry (we were too full for dessert, but coffees were excellent). Kudos to a young restaurant that is already strutting it's stuff--this place has it all together and reaching higher. At the risk of making reservations so much more difficult...do not miss "27". Among my many rave reviews of Twenty Twenty Grille, one of my favorites fantasized about my dream of getting to heaven, where Chef Ron is in charge of the food and his wife Rhonda runs the room.
Twenty Twenty Grille still offers heavenly food, even in the hell of this coronavirus pandemic. For curbside takeout, delivered to your door or to eat in, Twenty Twenty Grille offers gastronomic excellence.
In fact, Chef Ron and Rhonda rise even higher during this hellish time. They offer much more variety than during the pre-pandemic days. If anything, Twenty Twenty Grille becomes even more outstanding, because Chef Ron and Rhonda have responded brilliantly to this difficult time.
The food is excellent. The service is excellent. Ron and Rhonda make you feel like they cooked your food for you. A wonderful and enjoyable experience.
