Fisher Island Day School gives priority for admission to families who are Equity Members of the Fisher Island Club and/or Homeowners on Fisher Island. The majority of students are Fisher Island residents; however, a limited portion of our student body resides off-Island. Due to the small class sizes, there is a wait-pool for admissions at many grade levels.

Upon leaving FIDS, most students continue on to South Florida’s top high schools, including Ransom Everglades, Gulliver Prep, Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, and Miami Country Day School. Miami’s top high schools continually report that former FIDS students are extremely well prepared and successful as a consequence of rigorous instruction in Advanced Placement and Honors coursework.

Fisher Island Day School is certified by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) to enroll F or M nonimmigrant students.

Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and acceptance will only be offered to a qualified applicant if space becomes available. Once this application has been processed, the Admissions Office will contact you for an interview and any additional information that might be required.
