The awe of the cosmos, at an incredibly low price for the whole thing, $10 adult for museum-plus-planetarium all day. Discounts: seniors, military, Groupon, kids under 12. Pay at the museum. Large dome, seats 90, great surround sound and pretty new projector (2020, but didn't get used much the first year for obvious reasons), plus knowledgeable presenters. That low price is great because it brings the wonders of space and other full-surround experiences to everyone who lives here, however they can't afford new carpets or seating without a major fundraiser or angel donor who decides to show up. For an underfunded 501.c.3, this place is pretty wonderful. And they have a piece of Mars (mars-origin meteorite) you can touch! Two different shows on odd days and two more different shows on even days, so if you have sunburn or it rains for two days you can see all different shows. One special premiere night monthly (3rd Wednesday), and an astronomy club night on the first Thursday. Laser light shows every 3 months at this time. Speaker series also held here, 1st Wednesdays iirc. Benches in lobby in case you have to wait, but usually not a lot of waiting!
