The luxuries of a park for those who don’t want queues, but only the best
By Paulo Basso Jr
Every night the scene repeats itself in Orlando (USA) . As soon as the sun begins to set, thousands of people gather in front of Cinderella Castle to watch the Disney Enchantment , a fireworks and light show that colors the sky of the Magic Kingdom in the midst of one of the most anticipated moments for those who go to Disney World.
There are, however, those who observe everything from privileged angles, without having to spend long minutes standing or having children’s balloons obstructing their view. It could be from the balcony of a restaurant at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando , located on the premises of the Mickey Mouse complex, or even from the pool or bungalow of one of Disney’s luxury hotels.
For those traveling as a family, using exclusive services is the best way to travel comfortably to the region. Even more so now that Disney World has just turned 50 years old and has been attracting crowds to “ The Most Magical Celebration in the World ”, a party that will last until the beginning of 2023.
A trip to Orlando surrounded by pampering begins upon disembarking. Aboard Lincolns and other elegant sedans, companies such as Mears and Ace Luxury provide transfers between the airport and the hotel for prices around US$130. To go by limousine, the price starts at US$220.
You can also get in the mood right away and call a Disney Minnie Van , a sports utility vehicle painted red and white in reference to Minnie’s dress. The ride to or from Disney resorts, offered on the Lyft app , costs US$155 for up to six people and you can request an accessible van.
When choosing where to stay, there are plenty of options. More than just having a privileged view of the fireworks show, those who stay at the Four Seasons , with daily rates starting from US$1,220, have access to a swimming pool with waterslide, spa, character breakfast and exclusive transfers to the parks. A lobby with very high ceilings decorated with a crystal chandelier welcomes those who arrive at the hotel, which also has a condominium of private residences – that’s right: it is possible to live in Disney World.
The Mickey complex also has its own luxury resorts , with prices starting at US$438 per night. This is the case of the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa , with a Victorian style and home to the award-winning restaurant Victoria & Albert’s , and the Polynesian Village Resort , with overwater bungalows and rooms inspired by the character Moana.
It is also worth considering the Animal Kingdom Lodge , where you can observe, from the room balconies, the animals that live at Animal Kingdom.

Or, the Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort , which houses villas with glass decks overlooking the Disney Enchantment show – the audio is transmitted through speakers.
Among the best Disney hotels, the newest is the Riviera Resort , whose decor is reminiscent of Walt Disney’s travels along the coasts of Italy and France. Now in March, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser came out of the oven , which aims to offer an immersive experience similar to boarding a spaceship, with a fixed two-night stay and Star Wars attractions . Packages will cost $2,418 per person.
Regardless of the choice, anyone who stays at one of these resorts will find a voice assistant in their accommodation, from which they can hire services, make reservations and answer questions – such as where to comfortably watch the fireworks show. Just say “ Hey, Mickey ” and wait for the magic to happen.
Once installed, it’s time to enjoy the parks. There is a service called Disney Private VIP Tours , which includes a private guide and a series of treats, such as behind-the-scenes access to leisure centers. Widely used by celebrities and families, the package costs between US$425 and US$850 per hour, depending on the time of year. The minimum contract is seven hours, and the price, which covers up to 10 people, includes rides without queues and access to isolated areas to watch the parades.

A tip is, first thing in the morning, ask the guide for reservations at the most popular restaurants, such as Be Our Guest or Cinderella’s Royal Table , at Magic Kingdom, Morimoto Asia , at Disney Springs, or Jiko , with the largest wine cellar in the South Africans from Florida, at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
To celebrate Disney World’s 50th anniversary, be sure to also request that new features such as the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure simulator , at Epcot, and a visit to the most memorable places in the complex’s history be included in the route. Preferably, without rushing.
