Submerge yourself in hypnotic visual effects, transitioning from light, colorful worlds exemplified by artists like Michael Shaw and his aerial installation entitled Lava Lamp as well as Sasha Frolova’s intoxicating kaleidoscopic fountain.
There is, of course, a lot of rock, pop, country, blues, and fusions of all kinds (to name just a few), but the area also features chorale and classical music, and even opera, courtesy The Gulfshore Opera. Alongside several regular performances, they also stage two full productions of well-known works at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center. Their traveling vocal group, the GO Divas, perform varied programs at local venues.
