The neighborhood is named after the doctor and businessman Doctor Phillip Phillips, who owned an immense area covered by orange and citrus plantations. Doctor Phillips sold his land and today it has been urbanized and forms part of the neighborhood. Even today, the oldest residents of the region remember with affection and nostalgia the smell in the air exhaled by the flowers of the orange groves.

The neighborhood of Dr. Phillips is known for its luxury condos, priced just above average Orlando prices. At the same time that it is a residential and quiet neighborhood, it is close to the parks and main attractions of the city. The neighborhood is also just 20 minutes away from Orlando International Airport.

doctor Phillips is also known for hosting Restaurant Row, a kind of gastronomic district in Orlando that offers everything from fast food, casual dining to gourmet restaurants of the most different flags and brands.

Another great differential of the region is the exuberant landscape and nature. doctor Phillips is in the middle of the famous Butler Chain of Lakes, a network of clean, navigable lakes connected by navigable rivers. There are several luxury condominiums in the region with lakefront homes.

But you don’t have to buy a lakefront home to enjoy the best the neighborhood has to offer. Nor do you need to buy a house facing one of the many golf courses in the area.
