The city of Leesburg is located in picturesque Lake County, Florida. This charming town is bordered by several waterways such as Lake Harris and Lake Griffin. Enjoy the city’s relaxed lifestyle and explore its many parks and nature reserves. The city has a wide variety of green areas and public parks, full of walking trails. Visit the Venetian Gardens, founded in 1938, on the shores of Lake Harris. The park offers several trails, gardens and canals. Admire the local sights by walking the Canal Street Trail or the Magnolia Trail. Relax with a game of golf or tennis at one of Leesburg’s leisure and sports areas.

Learn about the importance of watermelon and citrus farms in Leesburg in the early 20th century at the Leesburg Heritage Museum. Find out more about the region’s interesting agricultural heritage at Paquette’s Historical Farmall Museum. Discover Mote-Morris House, one of the most elegant historic mansions in the area. Built by a former mayor, the site has a four-story tower.
