Centered on physical interaction, the presented works offer an escape into a universe of freedom never before imagined. Play, touch and feel your way through atmospheres with Cyril Lancelin with his monumental, immersive and luminous labyrinth, to Rub Kandy and his zany tribe of GINJOS, the bouncing spheres by Motorefisico and delve into a completely new terrain created by Camilla Falsini with her original colorful graphic creations. Submerge yourself in hypnotic visual effects, transitioning from light, colorful worlds exemplified by artists like Michael Shaw and his aerial installation entitled Lava Lamp as well as Sasha Frolova’s intoxicating kaleidoscopic fountain.

There is, of course, a lot of rock, pop, country, blues, and fusions of all kinds (to name just a few), but the area also features chorale and classical music, and even opera, courtesy The Gulfshore Opera. Alongside several regular performances, they also stage two full productions of well-known works at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center. Their traveling vocal group, the GO Divas, perform varied programs at local venues.
