Art Basel is one of the most important events in the world of modern and contemporary arts, recognized by anyone interested in the subject. This year’s edition celebrates 20 years since the beginning of the event in Miami.
The event that takes place annually in Florida already has a date set for the 2022 edition: it will take place between December 1st and 3rd, at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Art Basel was an example of “from scratch to top”. The fair was born at a troubled time: its inauguration was supposed to take place in December 2001, but was postponed to the following year because of the attack on the Twin Towers.
