We chose this place for value and location, and it was good for those. Easy to find, a couple of restaurants and a bar close by and more restaurants in the town centre about 20 mins walk. The room was basic but served our needs. It contained a big fridge, a microwave, a big TV, even an iron and ironing board. There were plenty of towels(and even flannels, a nice surprise) as well as soap and shampoo. The shower took a little while to rum warm but once it got there, the hot water was plentiful. The only two problems we had were that the wash basin was missing its plug (we always take a universal bath plug when travelling when travelling, but even without that you could have put the ice bucket inside the wash basin, and the smell. My first thought was that at some point in the past it had been a smoking room and the smell had never really cleared, but then I began to think it must have been more recent. Being from the UK, I'm used to all hotel rooms being non-smoking, but maybe smoking is still allowed in rooms in the USA? Anyway, the supermarket in the town centre sold a large can of air freshener for just over a dollar and repeated and Liberal use of that helped no end. The man on check-in and the woman who cleaned the rooms seemed nice and friendly
