It is a well-civilized trail, where you walk along well-built wooden walkways that run over the swamp. It is interesting to observe the local vegetation and fauna. On my visit, we could only observe birds and fish. But depending on the season and if the visitor is lucky, he can also see other animals, especially alligators. It's nice, but if you visit this trail, it's nice to come with time to visit other trails and get to know the Eveglades Park, which is huge.

Very well-maintained and beautiful trail, but unfortunately we were unable to see any of the region's fauna. In fact, we saw an alligator and a cricket.

The trail is relatively fast (1200 meters) and covered on platforms where you can see several alligators, turtles, fish and birds. Bring repellent and a hat.

Easy, relatively short and very interesting trail. You can see fish, turtles, lots of yellow crickets and, if you're lucky, like we were, see a big crocodile out of the water, "Jacarezazing" in the sun. You have to enter the sign indicating: Royal Palm. Next door is another trail, the Gumbo Limbo Trail. It's between trees and kind of boring.
