Stayed there a few days ago for a business trip overnight, rooms were well updated and very clean. No issues.
We stayed a night in a very nice room for a good price. Staff was very nice and helpfull! My son took some time to learn Russian from treating the reception person while we sat in the bar and watched Rugby and talked to the owner.
My wife and I stayed here last year. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms are nice and the hotel is within walking distance of DeLand's main attractions. The only problem we faced was to return to the hotel late at night since they didn't have a doorman eve. I'm sure they have to take care of it now. Highly recommended.
We stayed at artisan for 4 days in January. What a fantastic concept - well decorated suites and a very fine starter restaurant - all in a perfect location in DeLand! There are a few things that need to be improved – how to become items are reloaded/replaced every day – but for a newly opened hotel, it was all great and hopefully it will get even better. The staff is very friendly and eager to help, no doubt due to the great leadership of finding is equally shared by Mrs Patel and her sister, Sara who runs the place. They make you feel special, and a member of your family. The restaurant serves up some wonderful lamb chops and a host of other dishes with Indian flavor, but not too spicy if you ask for it. Chef Jason is great! He even with a special Foster banana for us that was out of this world! If you're planning a visit to the DeLand/Daytona area, stay at artisan! That's fantastic!
Beautiful hotel, with metal keys and cute rooms. I wish I could put a 4.5, the hotel smelled like a pizzeria probably from the restaurant below, which wasn’t bad, just interesting because we smelled like it after we left. Thankfully I asked about the outside entrance because we almost didn’t get the code to get in from the hours of 9p-9a. The bed was a little soft and we kept rolling into each other and the sun came in bright once it was up. The bathroom had a vent (awesome!) so it felt like we were in a cute apartment. Definitley planning on coming back!
