We booked this place based on other reviews and are very glad we did. This was our first visit to the area and we wanted an "Old Florida" feel. The grounds were welcoming with lots of areas to relax and unique decor. It felt like visiting a friend or relative's private home. We had outdoor seating just outside our unit with a view of the grounds and grass covered dunes. There are second floor units which would offer a view of the Atlantic, but we appreciated the ground floor with no steps. It is just a very short walk over the dunes to the beautiful beach. Beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas were all available and complimentary. Our unit had an eclectic mix of interesting decor. The furniture was nice with some antique pieces. The fixtures and cabinetry were very nice. The kitchen was spacious, and serviceable for cooking, though the cutlery had pieces missing and the dishware, while nice quality, was a hodgepodge of pieces. We were lucky to view a launch from the Kennedy Space Center, which was a bonus to our two days spent exploring the Visitor Complex. For those of a certain age, visiting the Space Center is a trip down memory lane, while at the same time a look toward the future as we learned about the Mission to Mars. We hope to come back to Cocoa Beach and if we do will stay at Beach Place Guesthouses again. (I intended to add more photos, but the system hung up and I could not.
