Founded in South Beach in 2015 by Menin Hospitality’s Keith Menin and Jared Galbut, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila is South Florida’s iconic brand offering an array of Mexican street food along with a unique night-life experience serving up award-winning tequila and cocktails. The Mexican-inspired concept features an extensive menu showcasing authentic Mexican favorites along with unconventional and innovative interpretations. Since its inception, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila has been nationally recognized and revered as one of the region’s hottest culinary and night-life destinations. Known to be the first to introduce fast-casual Mexican fare to South Beach, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila has received several accolades from top media outlets such asGQ Magazine, InStyle Magazine and HuffPost, among others.
The brand currntly has a total of five locations, including two ‘taqueria-only’ concepts in Aventura (2021) and Miami’s iconic FTX Arena (2020), along with three full-service ‘taqueria y tequila’ concepts in South Beach (2015), Fort Lauderdale (2020), and West Palm Beach (2022). Bodega Taqueria y Tequila is currently undergoing an expansion and gearing up to welcome several new outposts this year and in 2023.

My husband and I agreed that this might be the best Mexican we’ve ever had!
Helps we were hot and starving, but this truly hit the spot. The tacos were incredible, the frozen classic lime was perfect, and my husband is still talking about his burrito.
If you’re in South Beach, you absolutely have to prioritize stopping here!

The atmosphere is very street food but very good. They know how to move food fast. The background music was energetic and fun. The staff was very friendly and even checked in on us while out eating.
The food is pretty amazing. Everyone enjoyed their food tonight and the margaritas were perfect.

Amazing tacos, chill vibes, fantastic prices - not sure what could be better. I got 5 different tacos (each were very big; if I hadn’t starved all day I would have probably stopped at 3) for under $30. Everything was fantastic but the birria was by far the best. The fried fish taco was also really good. The lobster was good but not fantastic.
This is more of a short-order restaurant and not a sit-down. You order your food at a counter, get a buzzer, pick up your food at the next window and grab your own table. Lots of seating both inside and outside. Lots of self-service hot sauces to pick from.

I drew much attention to this site from the outside because of its original façade. It turns out that when you enter, you have a huge, huge bar in another environment and it looks great. I ordered a taco of green chicken and another steak a la barbacoa with a frozen Margarita that was divine. Super recommended, good service and food arrives at any time. Great!!
