We live near this park. We visit every summer. This a local swimming hole. If you have visited other springs and are expecting the same grandeur you will be disappointed. With that being said it's a great place to cool off during the summer. This park is closed in fall and winter. The springs have a concrete retaining wall and plenty of steps. There is sand and a shallow area for the little ones. Make sure you bring a diving mask or goggles, insect repellent, sunscreen and snacks.

family an friends went here for a day of swimming an I was so happy we picked this place. water was clear an cold because its spring water .there is shallow form knee to hips an deeper so that makes it great for the youngest to older who can swim. you also can bring tubes to float on.you can cook out bring coolers they have a small stand in case you want to buy a drink . no problems parking. it does cost 2 dollars per person an I think it is worth every penny of it. plain on going back many more times.had a great time.weekends lots of people week days no to bad.

This is a wonderful spring to visit on a hot summer day as the water is a crisp 72°. There are several stairs leading into the water at varying depths including a more shallow area for easing yourself in or for little swimmers. The dock is a fun feature and the spring is deep enough at this point where it is safe to dive. The bottom is sandy with some aquatic foliage and little fish like bream. There are lots of covered pavilions available, some with charcoal grills, so arrive early if you want to snag one.
