Cape Canaveral Lighthouse
Service Overview
The Cape Canaveral Lighthouse is located on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Visitors with privileges on CCAFS can visit the lighthouse on Wednesdays 11am to 1pm during open house. Visitors can obtain clearance to visit the lighthouse via a tour provided by Canaveral Tours or KSC Visitor Center. Advance reservations are required. Visitors can climb the first few floors inside & exit the outside stairwell from the 3rd floor, weather permitting. Closed toed shoes required and you must be 48″ tall to climb. Guides, museum and gift store on campus. Visit www.Canaverallight.org for more information. Canaveral Tours offers Pickup & parking at Port Canaveral Exploration Tower. A 4 hour tour also includes visits to historic spaceflight complexes, spaceflight museum & views of current launch complexes and programs that are our next step into space, the moon and mars. The only way to visit the light houses is by tour.This tour met at the Exploration Tower. The driver and tour guide were excellent. Was able to climb a few levels of the lighthouse and tour the lightkeepers quarters. Great.

have enjoyed The Light House Tours a few different ways. And So far, the Best Tour is though Canaveral Tours. The Bus tour to the Light House is very fascinating and educational. It’s like taking a trip through time, you visit the old launch pads, block houses, and Hangars. You can climb the light house with very informative knowledgeable guides. All these Volunteers are amazing with insight though their own experiences of launches. Our tour ends at one of my favorite places to send visiting Guest, Sands Space History Center. A fascinating little place with a Hugh impact. This is a hidden gem of a tour, unforgettable, educational, and very quaint. No crowded bus or long lines and priced very reasonable. there's a 4-hour tour and a quicker 2-hour tour on Saturday's. if you are at all interested in Space flight history, this will NOT Disappoint~~~

I am so glad we booked the lighthouse tour through Cape Canaveral tours... I can't remember the lady's name that was our tour guide but she had so much knowledge of everything lighthouses all the space information rocket launch information animal information bird information just any question I asked she was so knowledgeable. She really was an amazing guide and I wish I could remember her name I would absolutely recommend this tour to my friends.

Awesome experience. From the lighthouse to the various Launch Control sites and various museums, this is definitely a tour worth taking. Karen was awesome with her knowledge of history as well as current up to date happenings on the Space Force Base, NASA and Cape Canaveral.

Beautiful place to spend time on a Saturday or Sunday, breakfast with a beautiful view, you can see the ocean, all the cruise ships from above, if you're lucky you can see a live lunch. Then you have other fun events. I took my friends to the boat show, enjoy the few photos I took. If you like boats and big rigs that tow beasts, this one is for YOU! The show is on Saturday and Sunday, May 20th and 21st, 2023
