This is the closest Checkers to my house in Hollywood. Easily accessable with the BCT #28 bus which stops right in front. Nice corner location with a clean outside, shaded easting area. Walk up window is right next to the eating area. Very convenient! I saw the advertising for a couple new offers to try. Firstly, the "$3.50 Meal Deal", 2 sandwiches( Hamburger or Chicken) your choice, spicy fries and a medium drink. The hamburger and the chicken sandwich were delicious. This was a rbreast meat filet, moist and flavorful. This was a steal at $3.50!!! The other special is the Texas Toast double burger sandwiches @ $2.49. I ordered one BBQ and 2 regulars to-go. These are very good sandwiches with the special garlic bread. Only you need to eat them hot because the bread gets a little limp after a while. A nice touch as a "special". The service was excellent with special attention from Hugo, the manager.
