Despite a relatively small social following on the internet, me, my wife and and my sister-in-law decided to dine here last night at Chops Grille in Kingston, NY. We are so glad we did! To begin, our server Alexandra started the evening off by serving a fabulous homemade hummus with warm pita wedges. OMG, it was excellent. We then ordered our entrees, with my wife and I both ordering the Shrimp Scampi while my sister-in-law ordered a cod dish. We all loved our servings. The rice in our scampi dish was so moist and the julienne veggies were a delight. As for desserts, we ordered the homemade rice pudding and a homemade apple crisp ala mode with french vanilla ice cream. Excellent! All in all, it was a very pleasant dining experience and one we hope to repeat the next time we spend a weekend in the Catskills.
