I've been a Choice rewards member for years and have always had wonderful experiences until now. The Customer Relations department is an absolute waste of time. I've been on the phone for an hour, spoken to three people (all of whom have said that I have to call someone else). This is why I will be using Wyndham Rewards instead of Choice Hotels in future. Utterly unacceptable.
Wife stayed in a Comfort Inn last night and got zero sleep. The heater was making a loud noise so she had to shut it off...then couldn't sleep because she was freezing. Talked to the girl at the desk and was told the manager said there's nothing they can do. No refund and no other rooms available.
For $600 a week I feel like not being able to connect to Wi-Fi should be the least of my concerns here. But I have to deal with no hot water, bugs like crazy (I set my cup down for 2 seconds and it's loaded with bugs I have to hold it) power outlets that don't work, holes in the wall, people letting their dogs crap in the parking lot and leaving it there, random power outages. I'm afraid to think about what is in the nasty carpet.
