The only star is for the decent view from our screened porch. That being said, this is NOT a "beach resort" by any means. There is no cleaning service, yes you read that correctly they do not offer any type of cleaning service during your stay. With that in mind, our reservation was for 3 nights. Upon arrival, there were 2 packets of single-wash dishwasher detergent, 4 bath towels and washcloths, 1 packet of single-use laundry detergent, no ice or ice maker, and hair on our bedding. The office in that building is half a mile away and phone calls are screened and returned but not answered. We drove to the office and were told by an elderly gentleman that housework in any form is our responsibility. I clarified TWICE about the following: we are expected to purchase dishwasher detergent for the remainder of our stay, laundry detergent (because they no longer provide towels or change bedding during our stay), and cleaning products to sanitize the unity. What a joke! The beach is also not quiet or relaxing in any way. Busy public access point, no noise or alcohol use. Definitely not close enough to walk to the pier or Times Square.
