We made a point of including Culhane's on our itinerary trip on our swing from St Simon's to Canaveral Seashore. We were quite pleased that we did. Yes, it's in a Strip mall, but once inside it's forgotten! Food, service, atmosphere and were very good. Both soups were delicious and reasonably priced. The Corned beef and wife's cabbage trumped my crooked fish, but both were excellent. Undoubtedly the touch on some of the dishes with the Guinness Stout in the recipe. We'll be back next time they're in the area. who sits next to the bar. Triple D was right about this Family of Irish Pub. PS that we are in a lot of being management wanna Irish pubs in the US. They don't make the cut. Culhane's is worth a visit.

I went to the Irish Culhane Pub while in Jax in June 2014 based on the restaurant being offered at Diners, Drive Ins and dives. Since everything in Jax is located in a Strip mall, I almost missed it. The décor was his typical Irish pub set-up. The staff were friendly. I tried the crooked fish dingle; I found it average with a cheese a little too much, but still good enough to eat. Overall, I thought it was your average Irish pub in a Strip mall. I don't know why it appeared on the Food Network; there are Irish pubs like this all over the country.

I saw Pub at Diners, Drive-ins, and dives for several months and make it a point to go next time I would be in Jacksonville, Florida. Wife and I had Mac and cheese and Celtic wings for starter/entrée. Next time I'll have a full meal. Mac and cream cheese was and had that something to it. has a real looking Irish Pub. The venue was clean and the staff friendly. Loved!!!
