My grandmother who hates Caribbean food loved their split pea soup. My daughter seemed to like the oxtails. I thought the jerk chicken was a little more spicer than I normally would prefer, but that is ok.

This is a little hole in the wall restaurant. Food is affordable and delicious. Everyone was coming in and ordering the soup. I tried it. It was great. Also, I had the Jamaican patties. These were quite good. Portions were large. Great little stop.

Fancy Loaf is a great Caribbean Restaurant with a bakery to booth. Food is seasoned well and very tasty. Nice folks who always smile and sing to the latest Caribbean tune coming off their speakers. Saturday has extra special treats yet everyday is a culinary delight. You name it Caribbean wise they have it.

Definitely the BEST Butter bread in Ft Lauderdale area. I stop by on every trip for my Craibbean treats of Butter Bread, Coconut Rolls, Black Cake, Banana Bread, Sugar cake and Beef or Saltfish Patties. They also have ice cold Carribbean drinks. Great staff and the owner is very friendly. They have been around for many years and it great to see them still around providing delicious Caribbean flavors in Miami/Ft lauderdale area.

ArvianBaked Goods Almost Like Home
I ordered 4 guava tarts, 4 coconut tarts, and a 6- pack of raisin buns from this bakery. We enjoyed the raisin buns. The guava tarts had way too much flour on the outside which impacted the entire taste of the tart. The coconut tart was better but still was not quite what I was used to from home. Overall, the baked goods were not bad and was a pleasant sight to an islander living in the states.
