I visit Melbourne a few times a year to see family, and always stay at this Hilton. It’s definitely worth spending a little extra for the oceanfront junior suite, it’s very spacious with a small dining table, couch and windows across the length of the room with beautiful ocean views. The beds/ pillows/ sheets are very comfortable and soft (I’m very picky about this) hotel has easy parking, nice oceanfront bar, great hot tub and pool, and the staff is fantastic.. always willing to help and go the extra mile. Great hotel that I’m always happy to get back to whenever I’m in Melbourne Hot tub was hot! Need to put a sig. Where the jets timer is located. We had to call the front desk for assistance. Kinda weird that the restaurant windows (with a table at the window) was directly overlooking the hot tub. Nice beach! Arrival was great, the front desk staff was very welcoming, professional and friendly. We were in the North tower which has fantastic views of the beach/ocean. Yes, they are Juliette balconies but I could care less given the view was so outstanding… particularly at sunrise. Our room was standard looking, comfortable and clean. I have stayed at beachfront properties in California and found the rate here very reasonable for rooms with fantastic views. Yes they charge for parking, but knew that up front too so had no issue paying (super standard in my experience at beachfront hotels). The lobby was lovely and the access to the beach so easy… we even got to see a spectacular SpaceX launch on our last evening!
