We had an excellent experience at The Kimpton. The location is amazing. The service by the pool and on the beach was excellent, and the food was good too. We ate a great breakfast at Cobalt and lunch at Heatons. In addition, we had massages at The White Orchid. Overall, the hotel is easy to get around and looks like it's family-friendly. The rooms are a little dated. The bedroom furniture had seen better days, and the TV had to be swiveled manually by its base to get it to point to the bed, rather than being attached to the wall and making it easier. These days most hotels offer smart TVs so you can log into Netflix etc, but not here. One other thing was that our room service tray from breakfast stayed outside our door for over 12 hours before I finally called and asked that it be removed (it was making the hallway smell).
