My family and I have always had a lot of fun outdoors in this park. The promenade is great and the Window on the Lake building offers beautiful lake views. The trails are shaded and it is a pleasant place to take a relaxing walk.

Long walk to park from the parking area in front. They have a shuttle service, but there is no way to know for sure how long it is. We waited 30 minutes and gave up. The boardwalk is cool. Hardly any wildlife when we were there. . . very hot. Mostly shaded boardwalks. Lots of water views.

I've been walking here with my daughter since she was 3. Nice easy walk. There used to be some owls at the beginning of the trees. Always see an alligator and snakes.

Next to the noisy 434 this almost forgotten park is an oasis. Large wooden walkway runs along one edge of the lake. A playground and a well-maintained grill make this secluded and well-maintained park a very pleasant walk. Negative point is the parking, on the other side of the road and the opening hours, only from Thursday to Sunday.

Closed for at least a year to repair boardwalk. Also bears in area. Moving at the mission speed of government
