Very quiet place with beautiful landscapes we went as a family my 4 year old daughter played a lot in the playground and we managed to see a crocodile.
I went by bike to the park, coming from Tampa Heights, about 20 km pedaling. Beautiful wooden houses and greenery on the way.
Lettuce Park is free for cyclists and pedestrians.
Perfect place for contemplation.

Very nice park with hiking trail. View of the swamp and walk between nature, very beautiful place where we can see herons, alligators, turtles in the middle of nature.
Every time I come to Tampa I have to stop by this park. Wonderful place. An oasis. Lots of trees and birds. Crocodiles, turtles, etc. Here you can rent kayaks, standup paddleboards. You pay 2 dollars to enter per vehicle. There are picnic kiosks and clean bathrooms. A wonderful viewpoint overlooks the entire park. Unmissable.
So glad I stopped to see this beautiful local park during my brief work-related visit. An impressive feature was the QR codes along the trail which connect you to an audio tour where you can learn more about the wildlife and unique features of the park. The boardwalk is great for families or anyone who wants to see the stunning water view without trail blazing--there's even a lookout tower close by! A mere $2 per vehicle, with pricing options for seasonal packages as well. Very clean, well maintained, and felt safe.
