I am writing this review for my mother. On Monday 3/22, my son turned 21 and we decided to celebrate his birthday by ordering out. I placed the order online via the website, and forwarded the receipt to my son. When they arrived at the restaurant the order was not able to be located. The manager came out and my mom showed him the receipt. He apologized for the issue with the ordering service on the website and made her a Cuban sandwich. When she got home she said he even throw in a browie. This gesture brought tears to my mom's eyes. Last month her mother her my grandmother had a stroke. My mom has been going thru a difficult time with having to go back and forth to the hospital. This small gesture of kindness by the manager made her whole day!

Went to Marlow's Tavern this evening and was pleased to see they were offering a special Valentine's dinner with wine pairings. We selected from the appetizers the fondue which was paired with a delicious chardonnay. The cheese fondue was good with pretzels for dipping. Some years ago, they served this with sliced french bread which I would prefer, but my husband loved the pretzels. I ordered the fish which was served over rice and was very tasty. My husband had filet mignon which was delicious and cooked to perfection. The Cabernet was outstanding! The dessert offered was chocolate lava molten cake. It was good but could have used more lava. Our server Casey was friendly and efficient. The meal was about $82 and was an excellent Valentine dinner! We felt very special!
