The tour starts with a 20 minute video about Mel Fisher. Then you can travel through the small but informative museum. There are many interesting pieces of treasure and it was nice to learn more about Mel Fisher treasure hunting. It took us about 2 hours to read about most artifacts.

I’m glad I went, once. It isn’t expensive and I downloaded a coupon for an additional $7 off. There is lots of reading and decent exhibits, I think children might be bored. There is a great gift shop however and you can go to the shop without going in the museum.

We have been here twice now, and I still love hearing about Mel Fisher--he has done a great work in bringing up treasures lost at sea.

Great place to see and learn about the biggest sunken treasure find in American history. Great exhibit, Great gift shop. The staff very friendly and helpful with answers. It' a must to go to Key West and see the Big Mel Fisher Museum, That's where you will see the "Mother Load". We were lucky to meet Mel in Key West 30 years ago. I posted a photo..... Sorry No Photos of us now.

A really wonderful look at one of the greatest shipwreck treasure adventures of all time! Inexpensive (less than $10 each) for about an hour to see it all. Highly recommended.
