I have stayed at this hotel before and they do a better job than other Microtels I have stayed in. The grounds are clean and the service is good. Pros: --able to check in early, no problem. --friendly staff --grounds were clean, well-lit, and ample parking is available --breakfast and coffee was out early (as in 530am) which is tough to find if you are an early bird. Many places don't put anything out until 630 or 7. Cons: --LOTS of pets here. There was some sort of dog show in town so there were dogs everywhere. The reason it is a con is that there was some pet hair in the corners of my room this trip indicating pets had recently been in my room during previous stays. During my last stay here, there was pet hair on the couch in that room. I didn't hear any barking though so that was good. Suggestion: have some rooms that don't allow pets ever or improve cleaning to remove all pet hair. --Not walkable to any restaurants. Not a huge deal, but some of the other hotels at this exit are very close to restaurants. You do need to drive to the restaurants from this hotel (very short drive, but not easily walkable except to Burger King).
