I went on the trails with my husband and children aged 14 to 2 years old. The tracks were easy even for the little one. I kept her in the cart most of the time just so we can go through the tracks faster. Some stains have disrupted the cart, but it is to be expected, because most of the paths are not paved. The path to the main lookout is paved and a quick walk.

We had the good fortune to see Pelican Island by boat. You can definitely understand how it got its name! We went in the evening when the shore was filled with birds nesting for the night. We saw both brown and white pelicans, scarlet ibis, night and great blue herons, and egrets. The Island looked like a tree decorated with white bulbs! Best was that we also saw a mother and baby dolphin.
