We stayed here for three nights while moving to the area. The hotel is aging and shows it. We selected this hotel due to its pet policy. At check-in, the clerk was not very friendly. She gave us a room that had not been cleaned or had been illicitly occupied. It was rather frightening to enter the room, and possibly encounter someone. We were moved to another room at the front of the hotel which was noisy. There was a kitchenette with again appliances which we did not use. There was a laminate countertop with pieces missing. The tub/shower combo had been modified to add a grab rail, but the holes from the previous rail had not been repaired. The Wi-Fi worked well. There were utility workers staying, likely due to the recent Hurricane. They gathered on the walkways by the rooms and were noisy. There was trash and empty beer bottles outside the rooms. Outside a room at the back of the property there were people drinking beer and cooking on the back of their truck. We did not go to breakfast at all. When we returned after our day moving, our room keys did not work. We had to go get them reactivated which was an inconveniece. Upon check out we did recieve better service, I did mention the issue with the occupied room. I would not stay here again.
