Root and Branch is a small restaurant on Oakley Seaver Drive in Clermont, Florida. For small eaters, they have: Small dishes consisting of small servings. Some of the small dishes include: Bread service [various types of bread with butter and jam] Crab cakes, boiled eggs with trout caviar, dill sauces and bacon phat, pork meatballs [4] on a plate with herb ricotta. I ordered the Baby Gem wedge, half with added grilled shrimp that was excellent and filling with the bread and dessert dish. They serve three different desserts and I chose the Kentucky pie, which includes chocolate chips, nuts, salted caramel and real whipped cream. The menu is very different from other restaurants. If you want something different for a change, try Root and Branch. They also have burgers and lobster roll. A bit expensive, but excellent food and service. The manager came to check to see if we needed anything. Water bottles are placed on the table--excellent addition. You need to check the opening hours. They open at 17:00 for dinner.
