I've been going to the Baths for 25 years. On the plus side, you won't find an old-school Russian/Turkish bath like this in New York. It's a great spot to have great Ukranian food, see a cross-section of New York life, decompress and "sweat your prayers," as they say - a real departure from the rush of the city. On the minus side, you are often met with pushy massage therapists seeking clients and a counter staff anxious to sell you on multiple visits, sometimes to grating effect. In summary, when I'm in the mood to unwind - and have the presence of mind to deflect a hard-sell - I like this place a lot and really value its restorative effects.

We stayed at the hotel that the Turkish/Russian spa is in in Feb 2020 and we're lucky enough to find this gem...there is NOWHERE better to spend a rainy day in Miami Beach!!We found the employees to be very attentive and greatfully showed us around... ABSOLUTELY worth the money & an ABSOLUTE MUST if you find yourself in the south Florida rain!!I pray this place is still there when this pandemic is over because we will be back as soon as this is over...hang in there Miami..we love you!!

Sufficiently hot sauna and cold fresh water bath. If you are looking for true sauna, this is the place for you.

There is nothing fancy about the Russian Baths, very much a collection of steam rooms and plunge pools, basic changing rooms and a Russian eatery to the front with a roof terrace. I really appreciated its old school charm, the characters I met there, and conversations with beers on the terrace. It was actually one of the most memorable parts of my trip and I will be returning the next time I'm in NYC.
