We are back at this beautiful, majestic building to celebrate my 60th Birthday!!! Reservations for 4 at 2:00 pm and we were seated by the hostess at a beautiful table in the center of the dining room. When we were ready, it was go time to the Sunday Brunch Buffet. To start, Fresh seafood consisting of Lobster tails and claws, Alaskan King crab legs, Stone crab claws, large shrimp cocktails, fresh shucked oysters with all the accompanying sauces, and melted butter!!! After three plates of sea food, I switched over to the numerous sushi and sashimi that was all rolled perfectly and fresh and awaits my picking. With the ginger and wasabi and soy sauce as a dipper I was all set!!! Round four was the carving station... Racks of lamb with four bones attached was given to me on my plate. Tender, flavorful, and grilled a perfect medium rare!!! Don't be shy to put that rack to your face... I did!!! And a perfectly roasted prime rib of medium rare was sliced to order. Tasty, tender, and delish, and a great seasoning on the outer part of the beef making it a mouth watering crunchy crust flavor!!! I didn't go for the salad bar or any bread, I did go back to the lamb and prime rib again. Plenty of sides to go with the main dishes. Bacon, sausage and pancakes for the breakfast seeking folks. Plus an egg station to make your own omelettes and eggs. Interesting sides they made was a choice of a Cabernet or a Sherry sautéed wild mushrooms that looked very interesting. And now to everyone's favorite... the desserts!!! Sweet to sweetness. Plenty to think about and have your eyes open to the fullest. Mini cakes, chocolate filled this and chocolate filled that. Fresh cut fruits and a crepe station also. Key lime pie, carrot cake, tarts, and so many to choose from. It is endless!!! Overall, great decor, excellent service, sorry didn't get our server's name. Great acoustics within the circle dome of the ceiling where the Harpist Marcos Vega who is a long time residence of the dining room who is there for 39 years!!! He did attend to every table who had a birthday plate with a candle and he played Happy Birthday to me and other birthday celebrations. There were seven birthday parties in the dining room when we were there. Yes it is pricey but well worth it for that special occasion. Bring your appetite!!! Loosen the belt one notch and enjoy!!! I sure did!!! Happy Birthday to me and to the seven others!!!
