We booked on a B&B basis and our confirmation said that we had a room with a bathroom across the corridor. However, when we arrived we were shown to a huge fabulous room with a gorgeous bathroom (shower and roll top bath). We were allowed to take our bikes through the pub and lock them in the beer garden. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We decided to to eat here in the evening too. Food was good and a good selection of beers. We ate in the bar as it was busier and had a great atmosphere and there was nobody in the restaurant. We were right on the road so the room was a little noisy (traffic and church bells but thankfully the bells stopped at 10pm). Breakfast was a little later than we would have liked (8am) but not a major issue. There wasn't a great deal of choice but the Scottish breakfast was good. A wholemeal toast option and some fruit etc. would be a nice addition. Overall, a great stay.
