Great new place in the Cagan Crossing area of Clermont! Friar Tuck Restaurant Restaurant and British pub opened after the pandemic and is run by Chaz and Candy, from the heart of England, with authentic British family recipes! The restaurant is huge with ballroom, pool hall, large bar area, dance and band area and an enchanted dining room with fireplace, varnished picnic table, a statue of armor and of course the Friar Tuck welcoming you! Susan our server was very friendly, courteous and well informed about all the menu items and was very fast and appeasing. Many and plenty of beers are available along with wine and full bar. The menu has many items to choose from, such as old classics like Scottish eggs, chicken curry pie, Cornwall pastries, fish and chips, breaded sausage, meat and Sarnie cheddar and much, much more! We decided on the turkey club with fresh turkey, British bacon, onion, lettuce and tomato in a toasted Jackson. My cottage pie was full of delicious meat and mashed potatoes on top! We finished with a very sweet note of a fresh cream donut that was like a freshly baked jelly donut with a mountain of fresh cream on top and a little strawberry on top. Come on Sunday for a full roast beef or roast lamb dinner. This is a fun place with live bands on Saturdays at 8pm, karaoke bingo on Tuesdays and curiosities on Thursdays?. Plenty of parking and restaurant in accordance with COVID.
