The room exceeded our expectations! Spacious, clean, comfortable, it provided everything we needed - from coffee to soap and shampoo. The beds were very comfortable. Even though we only stayed for 2 nights, after the first night our room was cleaned! Exceptional service that I did not expect from a hotel. The staff is very friendly and the general manager David very helpful! I hope to be back some day!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Gator Den (aka Anglers Den) motel. Although we usually stay at BnBs or 4-5 star hotels, we chose the “Den” as it was conveniently close to my son’s house. It has clearly been recently renovated and was spotless. The bed was comfortable and proved a restful nights sleep. We’d definitely stay here again next time.

Stayed for the second time in 6 months. This property is our go to when we visit family in Florida. The Motel and Restaurant together make for a great combination. No drinking and driving . . . I especially would like to mention the Manager, Stan. He went above and beyond to accommodate us when we needed to add a day last minute, needed recommendations on places to visit in the area, and the best fishing spots! By the time our last day arrived, we felt like we had a new friend, the kind of guy that has your back. Thank you Gator Den Motel, see you in 6 months!

We stayed here last weekend and I cannot say enough about this place! Rooms were clean, restraunt/bar on property was amazing! great food and service! big shout out to Stan, Alex, and Victoria who go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and welcomed. definitely will be back!

Very clean rooms, everyone that works there is super nice! Great location close to where we put in on Rainbow River for a paddle. My only feedback is all the pillows in the room are very firm and very full, which made it difficult for us to get comfortable and sleep. We will bring our own pillows next time. Would be great to have a softer/ flatter pillow option for guests in the rooms.
