he Surf Club (adjacent to a modern Four Season's Hotel) is an old-world luxury, and Thomas Keller's restaurant, the Surf Club, offers excellent versions of classic foods (Cesar salad, Beef Wellington, Lobster Thermador and the like), in a stunning setting, served by impeccable service. One parks the valet (with partial courtesy of the restaurant) and then starts a special dinner. We sat in the beautiful closed courtyard with window/glass; the separation of the tables was quite spacious. We enjoyed:Absolutely top-notaries - margarita (delicious) and a brown derby (whiskey, grapefruit juice and honey) - yum! Crabcake c/ spicy mayonnaise - cornflake with crust - yum! Cesar salad - side of the table prepared; a moderately spicy Cesar Dover sole menuiere for 2 people - EXCEPTIONAL!! French fries - delicious mouth-watering!! Beaten potatoes - delicious buttery! Beans - perfect! Coconut Cream Cake - a light, creamy and DELICIOUS dessert Dinner at The Surf Club certainly costs $150 per person (or more if they are expensive wines, etc.), but the atmosphere, service and food are EXCEPTIONAL!! Among Restaurants for Special Occasions of South Florida, The Surf Club is really special!!
