Went to Disney for 5 days and stayed at this nice new resort and it was half the cost of the Disney option. Everything was nice and clean and it has the best shower pressure of any place in the world hands down. Come for the nice comfortable room and stay for the best shower. The bedding is comfortable. It had the biggest refrigerator of any hotel I've ever stayed at. The room had a microwave Plus it had basically a park bench with bench seating which is nice because it gives you a large table area and lots of places to sit. The AC works great. There's blackout shades so you can sleep in. If the hotel is not super booked up they might upgrade you to a suite which is always nice. (That's what happened in our case.) If you come back late at night on a regular basis, try to stay at the tower that is closer to the parking garage. This will save you a lot of walking. But since this place is so nice and at such a great price it doesn't even matter. Enjoy your stay. It's the nicest budget friendly hotel around. You can't beat it. It's the best bang for the buck. Rooms: Spacious with big windows and blackout shades fantastic shower pressure everything is very clean and smells clean. Nearby activities: There's a huge ginormous pool at the hotel shaped like a surfboard. There are many dining options all around the hotel in the nearby area. Volcano Bay water park is just a couple blocks away. You're close to everything at universal. I do recommend using the free bus for universal that comes every 10 minutes or a car for everything else. Safety: This is a brand new hotel built to the latest safety standards. Walkability: This is a large hotel and you will have to do some walking to get from your car to your room. The hotel is close to everything but you definitely want to take a bus or a car. Food & drinks: They do have a nice little cafeteria which has quite a few options and it also has a full service Starbucks in the lobby as well. So if you get hungry and you don't want to go anywhere, you should be okay. Noteworthy details: Great alternative to a Disney hotel. You get a themed hotel That is usually 20 minutes away from Disney parks at half the cost. It's a no-brainer.
