Great for a local hang out. Check their specials on Monday and Tuesday, The rice, beans, salsa and burritos and tacos are some of the best that I have had locally.
Overall experience was great, we ordered a plate from the Cuban side and one from the Mexican side. Service was really fast and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We were in fact surprised because the food was really tasteful and the plates are a good portion and they are not expensive. On Monday and Tuesday they have specials for BOGO on selected plates, they also have lunch specials everyday. Definitely will visit again.
This is my first review for Vila's, but I have been eating here for years. I have nothing bad to say, it's all good! The dish I get the most often is the chicken filet with black beans and rice and plantains - scrupulous! Don't forget to have some dessert with Cuban coffee. You don't have to go to Miami. Vila's is fantastic!
We dined on a weeknight and could sit right down. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Fresh chips were whisked to our table right away to enjoy as we browsed the menu. We ordered bar drinks which were very good. Our plates came with all the usual extras like rice, beans, etc. and we had enough to take home for a little lunch the next day. The servers were very friendly as well.
I live closeby and my kids love to bring home dinner. The kids menu is affordable and portions huge. My 2 teens can still eat off the kids menu and have enough to eat. Love this place!
