Quiet park, very clean and organized, with several animal species in its natural habitat. Short time tour (2 to 3 hours), but take the camera !!

I've been coming here for years and it never gets old. Sometimes it gets crowded by all photographers, but it's always a great place to shoot birds, crocodiles and other wildlife. Unfortunately it is closed now due to COVID-19, but I await its reopening.

Next to Jog Road in Delray Beach, Wakodahatchee Wetlands is a wonderful place to spend an hour or two walking on the boardwalk. All kinds of birds, turtles, an alligator and more spend their days here, nesting and raising their families. Parking can be a problem, so be prepared to wait a while to get a spot. Most days, there's a security guard taking care of the parking lot. Bring your camera or binoculars and breathe surrounded by nature, not by malls and Publix! Joel... Delray Beach.

Very nice park. At first it seems like it would be small and not really in the middle of nowhere but after making it past the first portion of the boardwalk I was amazed. The whole walk is very nice and you will see tons of wildlife. It was a bit crowded but we still everything clearly even a gator. Very nice little hike, strongly recommend
