Azul Linhas Aéreas revealed that Margarida is the character who inspired the fourth aircraft that is joining “The Most Magical Fleet in the World”, which celebrates all the Magic of the Parks at Walt Disney World Resort, in Florida .
The A320neo, called “ Margarida Nas Nuvens ”, is already at the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France, undergoing the painting and customization process. The plane was themed in honor of this classic character who made his first appearance in an animated short film in 1940. Delicate, but full of personality, the design made for the newest aircraft in the fleet pays homage to Margarida’s well-known characteristics. The launch is expected to arrive in Brazil as soon as the painting at the French factory is completed.
Before beginning operations on domestic Azul flights , taking off and landing in more than 40 cities across Brazil , the plane inspired by Margarida will go through the process of installing Wi-Fi and live TV, free services offered only to passengers who fly with the company . The A320neo will join three other aircraft that together form “ The Most Magical Fleet in the World ”. In November last year, the first commercial flight of “ Mickey Mouse Nas Nuvens ” took place, which started the project. The second and third aircraft in the fleet, “ Minnie Mouse in the Clouds ” and “ Donald Duck in the Clouds ”, were launched in February and July 2022, respectively, bringing all the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to the airports from Brazil.
