Miami’s hip Wynwood neighborhood is undoubtedly my favorite area in the city.

Considered the mecca of graffiti, the walls of the Wynwood Arts District concentrate the ‘filet mignon‘ of world street art in an open-air museum. Artists such as Shepard Fairey, Gemini and Kobra have their works scattered around the neighborhood.

In addition to being able to take a tour of this open-air urban art museum, during Art Basel Miami Beach, the renowned art fair that rocks the city annually, you can even meet your favorite artists on the streets of Wynwood.

In 2017, when I was in town for the fair, I found Mr Brainwash crossing the street and I could see Kobra signing one of his murals.
